All students entering North Miami Adult Education Center are pre-tested prior to placement.

• Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) is administered to all students entering Career & Technical, GED and adult high school completion classes.
• Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems (CASAS) is administered to students entering English language classes.
• The GED Tests are designed to provide an opportunity for adults who have not graduated from high school to earn a State of Florida High School diploma.
